The thirds had to have a rejig of divisions this week which meant that we took a bit of time getting used to each other. Although we were 1-0 up, that seemed to make Bec angry with the result that we were soon 6-1 down. Bec’s long shooting was pretty impressive. Once we had got to know each other, things began to click and we got back into the game with Rich M banging in a couple. However, at half-time, we were still losing 9-4.
The second half was a bit frustrating. Although we won it, we missed a few chances and Bec’s two goals meant that we never got close. We needed a run of goals and never quite managed to do it. So we wandered down the pub afterwards wondering what might have been.
