What are you up to on Wednesday nights? Fancy meeting new people, getting some exercise and having fun at the same time? Come and join us at Balham AstroKorf. Last summer we had loads of new players trying summer korf before joining the club at the start of season – it’ll be a good laugh, with plenty of time to play games and get your head around the rules.

  • What?

This fun outdoor tournament is aimed primarily at getting beginners playing, although teams generally have some experienced players. It’s organised by PlayKorfball for all London players, so look forward to socialising with other clubs! The teams will be mixed rather then club specific, to encourage mingling and make teams of similar strength. As this training is run outside of the club, there is likely to be a small fee of £3-4 per session.

  • Where?

Balham Astro, Chestnut Grove Academy, SW12 8JZ. It starts at 7pm on Wednesday 29th July running for 5 weeks.

  • How do I get there?

The school is 2 minutes from Balham tube station on the northern line. Entrance to the outdoor pitches is via Boundaries Road. When you arrive, ask for anyone from Supernova – at least one of us will be wearing the blue and yellow kit – or Liam Clarke who is organising the tournament.
